Blue Cross to Participate in #WellnessWednesday with Southern University, All of Us Research Program

BATON ROUGE, La. - The All of Us Research Program,Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, in partnership with Southern University, will host a free Health and Wellness community event on Southern University's campus to promote the All of Us Research Program and overall wellness in the community. 

This #WellnessWednesday community health event will be on Wednesday, July 17, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Walgreens will provide free blood pressure screenings, JiggAerobics will lead a dance-style workout class, food trucks and vendors will have healthy food samples and much more.

The fair will bring awareness to the All of Us program's goal of speeding up health research and medical breakthroughs that can help create individualized prevention, treatment and care for everyone, but especially for minority communities.
