Blue Cross Promotes Natalie McCall to Vice President of Provider Performance and Analytics

April 22, 2020

BATON ROUGE – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana has promoted Natalie McCall to vice president, Provider Performance and Analytics, effective April 16.

McCall has been with Blue Cross since 2014. In her vice president role, she will work closely with network provider partners to help them succeed in Blue Cross’ clinical, patient-facing programs. McCall will develop new opportunities for Blue Cross to support providers in focusing on exceptional patient care, offering them tools and resources to get better health results, coordinate services, meet quality benchmarks and manage the total cost of care for their patient populations. She will provide leadership on data analytics, performance reporting, operational assessments and more. McCall reports to Sabrina Hogan, senior vice president of Care Delivery.

McCall previously was Blue Cross’ director of Accountable Care Engagement. In this role, she collaborated with providers statewide to improve health for members, especially those with chronic conditions, while lowering total cost of care through value-based partnerships. McCall has been an important part of Blue Cross’ efforts to move from fee for service to value-based reimbursement by helping providers analyze and improve their performance on targeted quality measures. She has been instrumental in developing and enhancing Blue Cross’ Quality Blue programs, which encourage healthcare delivery system transformation.

Prior to joining Blue Cross, McCall spent several years in performance improvement with the General Health System in Baton Rouge. She also previously worked as a healthcare consultant and analyst in Chicago.

McCall has a Bachelor of Science degree in Science-Business from the University of Notre Dame. She also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
