BATON ROUGE – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana’s Medicare experts will host a series of Facebook Live educational events from August through November to help you and your family learn more about 2022 healthcare coverage options.
During the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, which begins Oct. 15 and goes through Dec. 7, anyone on Medicare can choose a plan or make coverage changes. Coverage on the Medicare plan you sign up for during the Annual Enrollment Period will begin Jan. 1, 2022.
To make it easier for you to get the facts before you pick your plan, Blue Cross will host a special series of four Medicare Made Easy Facebook Live educational events. In these events, benefit advisers and other staff who have lots of Medicare experience will share information you’ll need to make your decisions. Tune into these online educational events to learn more and get your questions answered.
The first Medicare Made Easy educational event is tomorrow at 10 a.m. on Blue Cross’ Facebook page. Medicare Benefit Specialists Ann Booth and Deborah Smith will share tips to learn more about your coverage options and pick the plan that’s the best fit for you.
