Louisiana Blue Earns URAC Accreditation in Four Programs
The designation demonstrates the highest level of commitment to quality healthcare

BATON ROUGE, La. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana (Louisiana Blue) has earned URAC accreditation in four programs. URAC promotes healthcare quality and patient safety through measurement against rigorous national standards. Louisiana Blue has continually held various types of URAC accreditation for 30 years. By achieving accreditation, Louisiana Blue has demonstrated a comprehensive commitment to quality care, improved processes and better patient outcomes. 

Louisiana Blue achieved accreditation in:

• Health Plan (HMO Louisiana, Inc.)
• Health Plan with Marketplace (HMO Louisiana, Inc.)
• Health Plan (Louisiana Health Service & Indemnity Company* and Federal Employee Program)
• Health Plan with Marketplace (Louisiana Health Service & Indemnity Company)
