Blue Bikes Seeks Riders’ Input on System Area Expansion

April 12, 2019

NEW ORLEANS – Blue Bikes will participate in the City of New Orleans’ recently announced Moving New Orleans: Bikes public meetings, asking residents for input on system area expansion and where new hub locations should be added.

Meetings will take place April 8-18, with at least one meeting in each City Council district. The full schedule of meetings is online. Residents and riders are welcome to attend any meeting they choose. If you cannot attend a meeting, please share your feedback through an online survey.

Moving New Orleans: Bikes is a city-parish initiative to create a network of connected and protected bikeways across the Crescent City. At the meetings, city representatives will ask for input on how to make biking comfortable, convenient and accessible to everyone in New Orleans. Blue Bikes will use these meetings as a chance to seek riders’ input on where to expand the system area, bringing bike share into more neighborhoods.
